I have been working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families for 15 years. I incorporate a wide variety of approaches tailored to the unique needs of each person. This work is a calling, a deep rooted belief in the goodness of all people, and the knowing that we are all connected through our humanity. I strive to empower my clients to work through the hard things, knowing there is a life of beauty to be discovered on the other side. Utilizing techniques which include cognitive behavioral strategies, understanding one’s attachment style, trauma focused, psychoeducation, and always incorporating a strengths based approach creating shifts in the paradigm of what’s possible. I look forward to partnering with you on an authentic, joyfully challenging, and exciting journey towards living out your truth.
I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I have a Master’s degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University, and I’ve been working in the mental health field for nearly 10 years. I have extensive experience working with children and families, utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I am currently working towards additional credentialing in Play Therapy and Perinatal Mental Health to further enhance my practice. I am dedicated to helping individuals of all ages navigate life’s challenges and achieve the emotional well-being they deserve. I work each and every session to empower my clients to achieve their personal goals and thrive-even in the face of adversity.
I am a licensed professional counselor who works with children and families experiencing anxiety, grief, emotional regulation challenges, social difficulties, and school-related stress. My background as a school counselor provides me with unique insight into the academic and social environments children navigate daily.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and developmentally appropriate. I integrate play-based interventions, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and emotional skill-building to help children better understand their feelings, develop coping skills, and improve relationships. I believe parents are essential partners in the therapeutic process, and I work collaboratively with families to provide strategies that support children beyond the therapy room.
